Each cottage features a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living area, dining space, and a screened-in lanai where you can enjoy your morning coffee, read a book, or unwind after a day at the beach. A pull-out sofa bed provides additional sleeping space, making our cottages ideal for families and extended stays.

  • How many guests can each cottage accommodate?

    Each Driftwood cottage offers two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, and comfortable living space for families and groups. The living room has a pull-out sofa bed. Our cottages can accommodate up to 6 guests!

  • How close is The Driftwood Inn to the beach?

    Very close! The beach is just a 5-minute walk from Driftwood Inn. We provide beach gear and wagons, so it’s easy to load up and spend the day enjoying Sanibel’s beautiful Gulf shoreline.

  • Are your cottages pet-friendly?

    Yes! We know vacations are better when the whole family can come along. Driftwood welcomes pets for an additional fee of $40 per pet, per night. Please include your pet when making your reservation or contact us before arrival so we can prepare for your stay.

  • What amenities are included in the cottages?

    Our cottages are designed to feel like your Sanibel home away from home. Each includes a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, smart TVs, comfortable living areas, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. Guests also have access to complimentary bicycles, beach gear, on-site parking, and other thoughtful amenities to make island days easy.

  • What is your check-in and check-out time?

    Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and check-out is at 10:00 AM. Driftwood offers convenient self check-in, so you can head straight to your cottage when you arrive. Early check-in and late check-out may also be available as optional add-ons, depending on availability.

  • Do you provide beach gear?

    Yes! We provide beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach wagons for our guests, so you can pack a little lighter. With the beach only a short walk away, getting from your cottage to the sand is easy.

  • Is The Driftwood Inn family-friendly

    Absolutely! Driftwood is family-owned and family-friendly, and our cottages are especially well suited for families traveling with children. Full kitchens, separate bedrooms, living space, and easy beach access give families room to settle in and enjoy Sanibel at their own pace. We also offer a Baby Convenience Package with the help of our friends from Sanibel Baby Rentals to provide gear for our youngest guests.

  • Is smoking permitted?

    No. Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside any of our cottages. This helps us maintain a clean, comfortable environment for every guest.
